Continuity Partners
I delayed having a baby to prioritize my startup
Feb 16, 2026

I delayed having a baby to prioritize my startup.
As a solo founder, I couldn't fathom juggling new parenthood, an infant, and my seed-stage startup.
I had a powerful sense of fiduciary responsibility and obligation to my investors to be ALL-IN.
Women get less than 2% of VC funding and having successfully raised, I felt a duty to set a good example - for future women founders to be funded without any questions to her commitment.
No distractions.
No leaves.
I froze my embryos the weeks I closed my first F&F checks.
I told my Dr. I wouldn't be back to transfer one (--> pregnancy) for quite some time.
When I finally felt I couldn't wait any longer (due to my age and health factors) I planned for over a year to restructure the org chart to allow for me to take a mat leave.
The Continuity Co. was created so founders and leaders don't have to choose between company and family growth.
✳️ No sacrifices
✳️ Founders maintain momentum
✳️ Investors protect their investment
The promise:
Interim leadership for founders on parental leave.
Making sure progress doesn't pause.
Providing fractional support across ops, growth, customer experience, and more.
By founders for founders.
I am thrilled to be supporting The Continuity Co. work as a generalist commercial operator.
The real pt of leverage --
Funds are investing directly TCC services for their founders.
When women and parents can build without pause or sacrifice, that changes the coverage of VC and the outcomes technology can create for humanity.
